Educational accreditation

SimpleTex developed for Chinese developers, so at present the SimpleTex official website only supports domestic university students and teachers to enjoy the education certification, 国内邮箱域名格式为@xxx.edu.cn, if there is no edu.cn mailbox, you can use the collection of mail or provide their own student ID screenshot sent to the official can be.

Authentication method 1: Use your educational email to assist manual authentication

1. Send an e-mail to: edu_verify@zqwei-tech.cn using your educational e-mail account to be certified.

2. If the system does not detect that the domain name of the mailbox is an educational mailbox, please provide proof that the domain name of the mailbox is an educational mailbox (e.g., the official website of the school, the name, etc.) in the e-mail attachment.

3. Please indicate your SimpleTex registered e-mail address and user name in the e-mail (standard format: registered e-mail address: xxx; user name: xxx).

Authentication method II: Providing supporting materials to assist manual authentication

1. Prepare a clear photo/scanned copy of your student ID card or proof of enrollment (no need to provide excessively private information, as long as it proves your student status)

How to apply

We directly open https://simpletex.net/user/register注册网站账号, no invitation code can not fill. Account mailbox can fill in their own personal business QQ or NetEase mailbox, the back of the educational certification will be required to provide educn mailbox.

After we have registered and clicked on User Center: https://simpletex.cn/user/center We see that the Education Certification page shows no certification.

We drop down the page and select Education Upgrade, it jumps to the Education Certification page as shown below: Enter the verification code you filled in your school email inbox to complete the certification.

Successful application

We enter the verification code to fill it in, prompted that we have successfully passed the educational certification and the student verification is successful, and then click on Confirm.

common problems

What if I don't receive the email?

1. Please be patient for a short while, or try to find it in the spam folder or bounced mail.

2. Refresh the page and retry the process, we will resend a copy of the email

3. Re-register with a different e-mail address or switch the language of the page and try again.

4. [Recommended Solution] Use the e-mail address you will use to verify the subject and content are 'activation' 的邮件至activate@zqwei-tech.cn, the system will be automatically activated for you within 5min/processing (only support the registration of activation code; has been verified for the education domain name of the educational mailbox); WeChat account email binding) (but can't receive emails); email binding of WeChat account).
