Introduction

MuJoCois a physics engine designed to facilitate research and development in robotics, biomechanics, graphics and animation, and other fields that require fast and accurate simulation. It offers a unique combination of speed, accuracy, and modeling power, but it's not just a better simulator. Instead, it is the first full-featured simulator designed from the ground up for model-based optimization, especially through contact.MuJoCo can scale computationally-intensive techniques such as optimal control, physically-consistent state estimation, system identification, and automated mechanism design, and apply them to complex dynamic systems with rich contact behavior. It also features more traditional applications such as testing and validating control schemes before deploying them on physical robots, interactive scientific visualization, virtual environments, animation and games.

MuJoCo version

There are three types of private licenses: student licenses, non-commercial licenses and commercial licenses. In conjunction withorganizationLicensing is simpler compared to the Personal License Agreement (see link below) and does not require a signature from an authorized representative, but the activation key is hardware locked. Licensed users can use the software on up to 3 computers for non-commercial and commercial licenses, and on one computer for a student license.

Annual license fees and usage restrictions are summarized below. ForGDP per capita (PPP)We offer a 50% discount to customers in countries/regions that are less than 50% of the United States.

MuJoCo institutional license: 1 year

There are two types of institutional licenses: academic licenses and commercial licenses. Each has multiple subtypes as shown below. Academic licenses are limited to academic institutions. All other organizations (including non-profits, government, and research institutions) require a commercial license.

Purchase orders are not accepted; payment is via PayPal invoice and must be received in advance; we offer annual licenses for $3,000 as well as six-month licenses for $1,500 (for customers with card spending restrictions). To purchase an academic lab license, please emailAs well as the name of the university and PI, we will send you a PayPal invoice with a customized SLA.Upon receipt of payment, we will email you the activation key and you can start using the software.
