It's a great extra storage space to back up my files, because the more backups I have, the safer I am from losing information. In contrast, I rarely have PDFs that need to be auto-summarized or fake images that need to be composited. It's nice to see this done with a single click, but the novelty wears off quickly. I could do without this and save $10 a month by downgrading to a non-AI Google One plan and still get storage space and other benefits.

Google One Premium AI vs ChatGPT Plus vs Copilot Pro difference?

If you're choosing between premium chatbot subscriptions, on the surface the value of these offerings looks fairly equal, with all three plans costing $20 per month. They all provide you with the most powerful templates available to developers, and they all analyze your uploaded profiles, determine image content, and build composite images as needed.

Whether AI Premium is worth it depends on how much automation you need in your life. It's no exaggeration to say that many of the AI features are solutions to finding problems; how often do you need a party scheduled for you? If you can think of some legitimate uses, the value of AI Premium depends on whether you've immersed yourself in the Google ecosystem. If not, consider Copilot Pro or ChatGPT Plus.

The benefits of each program relate to the ecosystem you spend the most time in. I'm referring to how Gemini Advanced integrates with Google Apps and how Copilot Pro integrates with Microsoft Apps (if you have a Microsoft 365 subscription). In contrast, ChatGPT Plus doesn't integrate with or rely on a specific ecosystem such as Google Workplace or 365, but instead has 'plugins' that integrate with many different third-party services such as Kayak and Slack.

Despite the same pricing, these plans are decidedly mixed in terms of benefits: the ChatGPT Plus and Copilot Pro don't offer 2TB of storage, nor do they offer discounts on softwares like Premium AI. Also, don't be surprised by the fact that Copilot Pro's integration with Office 365 apps depends on you already having a Microsoft 365 subscription (starting at $70 per year). One of the areas where Google One Premium AI falls short of the competition is customization. ChatGPT Plus and Copilot Pro allow you to build "GPT" or custom bots that are pre-programmed to perform actions in a certain way for specific tasks.
