Why can't I see all my data through my free academic license?

Can I download the DISGENET database?

For academic users Academic users cannot download the full DISGENET database. However, you can download search results in various formats (e.g. TSV and Excel) via the web interface or API. Access to results depends on your plan: Free Academic Plan: provides access to selected data only. Standard and Premium plans: provide access to the full database.

For commercial companies For-profit organizations can access the complete DISGENET database by purchasing a standard or premium license. Search results can be downloaded in a variety of formats, such as TSV and Excel. disgenet2r 403 Academic license forbidden error?

If you are using disgenet2r with an academic license and are experiencing access problems, please note: The academic license only provides access to the "CURATED" database. database = "ALL" will result in a 403 Forbidden error because not all data sources are included in the academic program. To resolve this issue, specify "CURATED" as the database in the function call.

Why do I only see the first 30 results in DISGENET?

There are several possible reasons for this situation:

1. you signed up for a 7-day Premium Free Trial Our 7-day free trial allows you to experience DISGENET's advanced features, including text-mined data, with limitations. If you have a trial account, you can only view the first 30 search results. The free trial is designed to give you the opportunity to experience the premium plan, but you will not have full access to all features until you subscribe to the plan.
