SCF's official colors are green and blue, and the college's intercollegiate athletic teams are known as the "Manatees" and are represented by the mascot, Manatee the Calf. The Maverick name symbolizes the institution's evolving vision.

Mailbox capacity

Student Mailbox Size - The maximum size of each mailbox is 20 MB Each user is responsible for respecting the limited capacity of the computing resources provided by SCF and for limiting their use so as not to unreasonably consume an unreasonable amount of these resources or unreasonably interfere with the activities of other users. Each user account is allocated specific resources for e-mail message use. It is the responsibility of the user to stay within these resources. Authorized users are responsible for ensuring that their e-mail messages are downloaded to their desktop computers and systematically deleted from the SCE server in a timely manner. SCF reserves the right to delete e-mail messages when the above resource limits are exceeded. In addition, email and attachments are limited to 20 MB) in size for students. Messages exceeding these limits can rapidly consume system and user resources, thereby disrupting the delivery of all e-mail. Therefore, messages and/or attachments larger than the allocated size will be rejected by the mail system.
